NICU Hearts
These hearts will be given to mother's whose newborn infants have been admitted to the Newborn intensive care Unit. the fabric heart is worn against the other's skin so that the fabric might absorb the scent of the mother. The heart is then placed in the crib so that the mother is always with her child.
Each teen will hand sew 1 heart and made a card fo the mom as well.
Each teen will earn up to 1 hour of community service.
$250 for up to 15 teens

We have been using Leslie for the past couple of years. She has done parent/ child, school age and teen programs for us. Her programs generally consists of crafts using recycled and environmentally friendly products. The projects are creative and age appropriate. Leslie has developed good rapport with the children and their parents. She has worked well with our staff and she has proven to be very reliable. A great find!
