Who is Leslie Sattler?

"Logic will get you from A to B, imagination will take you anywhere" -Albert Einstein

In Leslie's own words: "Working with children has exposed me to an entirely new world where I can teach, encourage and make a difference.  Now, I spend my summers at camp loving what I do and the rest of the year doing more of what I love in libraries, schools, other private and public facilities and at private events."

Having spent her entire life developing a passion for creating art and through her experience as the Art Director at Driftwood Day Camp in Melville, NY , Leslie has learned that people excel with a hands-on approach to learning.  Because of this, she was able to incorporate her passion for the beauty of art with her dedication to saving the planet by starting Green Earth Craft, Inc.

Participants in Leslie's workshops at Green Earth Craft have room to artistically express themselves while emphasizing the importance of protecting our planet by using recycled materials in their projects.  In addition, there is an overall sense of community in the workshops that inspire a commitment to becoming responsible contributors to society.  In fact,  many of the workshops incorporate ways that benefit worthy charitable organizations and the people they serve.

"Seeing people create and learn, not only independently, but within their communities is an incredibly beautiful experience. but knowing they will carry it into their everyday lives is nothing short of amazing."  -Leslie Sattler
